St. Mark's Nurses Ratify Contract to include RNs and Increase Wages

Congratulations to the Nurses at St. Marks on their newly ratified agreement providing 10% increases in LPN wages and substantial increases for the newly organized Registered Nurses (RNs).  RN floor nurses at St. Mark's voted to continue to be covered under the same Union contract they enjoyed as LPNs.  Following the recent NLRB vote to include RNs in the union, the employer met with the Union to negotiate new wage progressions for all nurses.  The new wages will allow St. Marks to remain competitive as it seeks to retain the high quality folks it has, and works to attract the finest caregivers in the area.  The following is a link outlining new wage progressions and language changes: PDF iconStmarks ratification proposals 1_4_16.pdf
