Kinnic Negotiations: Tentative Agreement Reached

During bargaining on August 25, 2015, the Employer made a final offer, which comes with full bargaining committee recommendation to vote YES.  Local 1189 has renegotiated a 4.5% increase over the next two years.  The increase schedule is as follows:  

• 8/1/15 = 1% (retroactive, if passes)
• 2/1/16 = $1%
• 8/1/16 = 1.25% (ncreased by .25%)
• 2/1/17 = 1.25% (brand new, increased by 1.25%)

All previous changes remain the same as bargained.Ratification vote will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 5:30 a.m. - 6:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. in the Kinnic family conference room.
