Meetings Scheduled for Displaced Rainbow and Dakota Premium Workers
The Minnesota Department of Employment & Economic Development, in cooperation with UFCW 1189 and Roundy’s encourages you to attend one of the group information meetings listed below. These meetings are to inform you about employment and training services available through the Dislocated Worker Program and Unemployment Insurance.
The Rapid Response Team will explain what is available through these programs and how you can access these services at no cost to you. Some of the services include:
- Career counseling and assessment
- Funds for training/retraining
- Funds for transportation, child care or emergency situations
- Suitable job leads
- Job search assistance
- Computerized job search
- Resources including computers, phones, fax and copy machines
Unemployment benefits – when to file, how to file, what to expect, etc.
