SuperOne and Mount Royal Bargaining Continues- No Deal Yet
The Union and Employer met yesterday, June 13. The Employer responded to the Union's package proposal, which can be found below. The Employer then gave the Union a counter proposal. The Employer did increase their wages slightly, but there is still a large divide between the member’s needs in wages and what the company is proposing. The Employer’s proposal also had take-aways for members, such as increasing the required hours for insurance from 18 hours to 24.
The committee worked hard to discuss and come up with a counter proposal that will be presented to the Employer next time they meet, July 13th.
Nothing was agreed to at this bargaining session.
