Tentative Agreement Reached with Jerry's
The Union and Employer reached a tentative agreement this afternoon, June 22, 2022, after members rejected the previous tentative agreement voted on May 31. The new agreement comes with additional wage increases, converstion of vacation to PTO, Apprenticeship and Meat Training (with protections and opportunities for existing Meat employees not currently classified as journeymen), increase in Employer health and welfare contribution, and pandemic language. View documents below for specifics. A ratification vote will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 in the stores and at the Union hall (details will be posted in the next couple of days).
The negotiating committee consisting of Lisa Dufresne, Todd Johnson, Jim Barklind, Tammy Bleier, Ryan Brown and Jeff Anderson worked very hard to reach this new and improved tentative agreement and fully recommend approval to the membership.
