This year’s 15 trap shoot participants included 10 Local 1189 active members, 1 Local 1189 retiree from Rainbow Foods, 1 UFCW Local 653 member, 1 father of a Local 1189 member and 2 sons of Local 1189 members. The trap shoot was held at the Metro Gun Club in Blaine, MN.

UFCW Local 1189 members working at Eveleth Country Foods have ratified a 3-year contract, which goes through April 25, 2020. The Employer will pay 90% of the cost of Plan A for all Full-Time and Part-Time employees that qualify for health insurance, with members paying 10% of the cost of Plan A. Wage increases range from 50 cents to 25 cents per hour each year of the contract.
