Apply for Scholarships

UFCW 1189 members and their dependents have the opportunity to apply for scholarships awarded by UFCW Charity Foundation, UFCW 1189 Kokaisel Scholarship and UFCW 1189 Executive Board Scholarship.

UFCW 1189 Scholarships

For the Kokaisel Scholarship, applicant must be a current/active member of UFCW Local 1189 with at least one (1) year of continuous membership as of January 1, 2023.  For the UFCW Local 1189 Executive Board Scholarship, applicant or parent of applicant must be a current/active member of UFCW Local 1189 with at least one (1) year of continuous membership as of January 1, 2023.

UFCW Charity Foundation Scholarship

The scholarship is limited to any UFCW member who has been active since January 1, 2023. The children and/or dependents of active members are also eligible to apply if they are unmarried and under the age of 20 on May 26, 2024.
