Important Information About Your Rights to Vote on the Clock

In light of recent schedule changes, we know finding time to vote can be challenging. Minnesota state law protects your right to reclaim time on the clock to vote. This time is paid and your employer cannot stop you from exercising this right. We encourage you to take advantage of this protection this Tuesday, November 5.

We know that for various reasons not everyone can exercise this right, but we want to make sure everyone is aware of it. If you voted early or otherwise can’t take advantage of this law, talk to your coworkers to make sure they know they can.

For more information, contact your representative, Ray Gandy, or your steward, or call our office during business hours. If anyone tries to stop you from voting, please call Ray immediately.

Ray: (612) 236-5130

Union Hall: (651) 451-6240
