Tentative Agreement Reached with Jerry's Cub, Jerry's Foods, and County Market

Ratification Vote will take place on Monday, April 8, 2024 in store breakrooms from 6-8 a.m. and 2-4 p.m. and at the UFCW 1189 Union Hall from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.  Members can vote at any store within the 1189 jurisdiction.

Duration: 2 year contract

Wages: Full-Time:          4/7/24 - $2.10 increase top and overscale

                                                  4/6/25 - $1.90 increase top and overscale

              Part-Time:                    4/7/24 - $1.35 increase top and overscale

                                                  4/6/25 - $1.35 increase top and overscale

  • 8 additional hours per year
  • Accelerated increases by an additional 2 years
• Fully Funded Healthcare for the life of the contract
• Increase to minimum scheduled hours for Part-Time and Top 24%
• 5% Increase to Full-time/Part-time ratio
• Guaranteed job protections for Meat Department employees
• Manager on Duty premiums
• Department Head replacement premiums
• Improved Safety language
  • Pandemic language
  • Violent attacks/Dangerous emergencies
  • Inclement weather
  • Front end safety after 10pm
• Updated Discrimination, Harassment, and Drug & Alcohol Testing language
