WFC Bargaining Begins

We began negotiations on Monday, March 13.  The Union and the Co-op both exchanged non-economic proposals.  Non-economic proposals are proposals that do not necessarily have a cost to them such as Union Security and Classification of Employees.  It was a full day of bargaining with many back and forth exchanges of dialogue understanding each other’s position and proposals.  We were able to make good progress with your committee standing in unity for obtaining the strongest possible language that helps their fellow coworkers.   Our next session is scheduled for March 27.
