Tentative Agreement Reached with Festival Foods!

Ratification Vote will take place on Thursday, April 11, 2024 in store breakrooms from 6-8 a.m. and 2-4 p.m. and at the UFCW 1189 Union Hall from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Members can vote at any store within the 1189 jurisdiction.

Highlights:

Wages
- Full-Time:
  - 4/7/24 - $2.10 increase top and overscale
  - 4/6/25 - $1.90 increase top and overscale
- Part-Time:
  - 4/7/24 - $1.35 increase top and overscale
  - 4/6/25 - $1.35 increase top and overscale
Increase to minimum scheduled hours for Part-Time and Top 24%
Reduction to the ratio of non-benefitted employees
Manager on Duty premiums
Improved Safety language
Participation in the UFCW Minnesota State-Certified Meat Apprenticeship Program
