Miller Dwan Negotiations Update

The Union and Employer met again for negotiations on May 21 and May 22.  We are working on economic proposals and making progress.  We have tentatively agreed on back pay to the contract expiration date, but we still are not in agreement on what the wage increases will be.  The Union is asking that members be paid comparably to other hospitals in Duluth.  The committee has been fighting hard to make improvements throughout the contract and hopes to continue to make progress in doing so with wages as well.  We are tentatively scheduled to meet again on June 7.

As a reminder, once the committee has reached a tentative agreement on a new contract it will be brought forward to the membership to vote to accept or reject the tentative agreement.
