Tentative Agreement Reached with Vireo Health MN

Body

Update: the Contract has passed. Raises and back pay should appear on the paycheck on 1/3.

Your bargaining committee has reached a tentative agreement with Vireo Health MN! The committee recommends a yes vote on the tentative agreement.

Highlights of the contract include:

  • 3% increases for overscale employees and improvements to all steps in the wage scale
  • A higher starting rate of $18 for production, CSRs, and custodian with a path up
  • Employer-covered healthcare increases
  • New tech 2 positions for production and cultivation with a $1.50 premium
  • Tips for retail including ability to put out tip jars
  • AU lump sum bonus after adult use goes into effect
  • Extra retail lead
  • Junteenth holiday
  • Eligibility for promotion with step one discipline (verbal warning)
  • New protections against harassment

We also made changes to bring the contract in line with Minnesota's ESST law and keep it consistent with current practice (for example, the employer does not automatically notify the Union when a new job is posted via email, this is a holdover from when the company was very small).

Pay will be retroactive to 11/22/2024 if the contract is ratified.
