Tentative Agreement Reached with UNFI/Cub!

Ratification Vote will take place on Monday, April 15, 2024 in store breakrooms from 6-8 a.m. and 2-4 p.m. and at the UFCW 1189 Union Hall from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Members can vote at any store within the 1189 jurisdiction.

Duration: 2 year contract

Wages increases will be applied retroactively upon ratification.

Wages: Full-Time: 4/7/24 - $2.10 increase top and overscale

4/6/25 - $1.90 increase top and overscale

Part-Time: 4/7/24 - $1.35 increase top and overscale

4/6/25 - $1.35 increase top and overscale

PTO:
- Accelerated increases:
  - 5 years instead of 8 years to receive 3rd week of vacation.
  - 14 years instead of 16 years to receive 4th week of vacation.
  - 18 years instead of 20 years to receive 5th week of vacation.
Fully Funded Healthcare for the life of the contract
Protections to reduce Full-time involuntary store transfers
Increase to minimum scheduled hours
Guaranteed job protections for Meat Department employees
Manager on Duty premiums
Improved Safety language
- Pandemic language
- Violent attacks/Dangerous emergencies
- Inclement weather
- Front end safety after 10pm
Updated Discrimination, Harassment, and Drug & Alcohol Testing language
Participation in the UFCW Minnesota State-Certified Meat Apprenticeship Program
